He has a B.S. degree in Industrial Engineering from Iowa State University, an MBA from St. Joseph's University in Pennsylvania, and a Six Sigma Black Belt certification from Honeywell. He is currently an Executive Committee Member for the HART Communications Foundation, Vice President of the Wireless Industrial Network Alliance (WINA) and a Board Member of the ISA Wireless Compliance Institute (WCI).
